Tour description

The Prainha & Grumari with Hike experience is an invitation to discover the wildest and most preserved side of Rio de Janeiro, combining heavenly beaches, exuberant nature, and a light hike amidst the Atlantic Forest.

The tour follows the coastline towards the West Zone of Rio, passing through less-known beaches and impressive landscapes such as São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca, Reserva, Recreio, and Macumba. The first stop is at Prainha, a small gem surrounded by green mountains, famous among surfers and considered one of the city's most beautiful beaches. There, we take a light hike of approximately 1h30 (round trip), crossing the Atlantic Forest biome until reaching Mirante do Caeté, 190 meters above sea level, with an incredible view of the preserved coastline.

After the hike, we drive for about 5 minutes to Grumari Beach, another environmental protection area, completely untouched and without constructions. In Grumari, there is free time (approx. 3 hours) to relax, swim, walk on the white sand, and enjoy the perfect contrast between tropical forest, clear water sea, and lush natural landscape.

An ideal tour for those seeking preserved beaches, contact with nature, and an authentic experience away from Rio's urban pace.

Four reasons to enjoy this experience
